Water Demand

Information in this section on water demand data was provided to the Study Team by Darby Fuerst and Andy Bell of the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District. Both of these demand assessments were recommended for adoption by the Technical Advisory Committee to the MPWMD Board. This committee was made up of staff members representing the eight jurisdictions within MPWMD boundaries: the six cities--Carmel-by-the-Sea, Del Rey Oaks, Monterey, Pacific Grove, Sand City and Seaside--and Monterey County and the Monterey Peninsula Airport District.
