Kivette Koeppe administers and manages the Center, including activities in administrative support, fiscal management, project coordination, and operational development. Prior to joining the Center, Ms. Koeppe was an environmental planner for the County of Maui. She supervised 20 employees in the Planning Division who were responsible for processing all land use and development permits and environmental documents for proposed projects in the County of Maui. Ms. Koeppe has also worked in an environmental consulting firm providing advice for construction projects to effectively meet water consumption and discharge requirements, and has served as an environmental scientist in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Ms. Koeppe is a graduate of Texas A & M University, College Station. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Rangeland, Ecology, & Management with an emphasis in Environmental Studies.
