The research team is developing a planning tool, called the Planning Issues Matrix, that will be commented on by experts in the field prior to its release. The intent is to identify the range of desalination options a user is facing (co-located with a power plant, coastal estuarine, or inland groundwater). Each option will have an associated tab revealing the key issues or questions the user may want to consider. This tool is intended to help guide users to the right portions of our ultimate report as well as link users to information that may prove helpful. As such, it will be like an electronic "Table of Contents" for the desalination report. It will be published in 2008.
